Peace Initiatives

The Center provides an umbrella of concern through its Peace Initiatives. We partner with churches, community service groups, and individuals to provide assistance, meet needs, and offer hope to the whole person.

Healthy Children

Mary's Table® for Children
The Center provides instruction in proper nutrition and dental hygiene and gives free dental kits to children each year. The children also learn how to be spiritually healthy. The ministry event is held in August of each year at the Center. Thanks to Warren Dentistry of Fort Worth for providing instruction and dental kits.
Noah's Ark
The Center also has a ministry named Noah's Ark, through which the Center team provides assistance for families who have heavy financial burdens related to providing prescription medicines, doctor visits, and medical tests for their children who have health concerns.

If you wish to donate toward the Noah's Ark fund, 100% of the monies given will allay the financial burden of prescription medicines and doctor's visits for needy children. Simply write "Noah's Ark" on your check or donate online by using the Center's giving portal and selecting "Noah's Ark" as the designated fund from the drop-down menu (click here).  Thank you for considering the support of this ministry.

Hunger

The Center, through its Mary's Table® ministry,  provides classes that help women learn how to prepare healthy meals for their families and encourages the women to go and do likewise for others who have needs. Friends of the Center provide a week's supply of groceries and recipe books to the women who attend.

Global Partnerships

Our five-year partnership with the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary has concluded successfully. We have entered into a new three-year partnership with the All Africa Baptist Fellowship. The Center will join efforts with the AABF to identify, organize, and begin  a program of advancement in theological education in AABF member bodies in general and specifically in Francophone countries. We also will partner to offer institutional consultations and engage in medical and agricultural initiatives as needed.
